As a fashion blogger, I usually do photoshoots in daylight, preferably when it's a bit cloudy to soften the sun (lighting on sunny days can be a bit too harsh). But sometimes I forget how nice it is to shoot during "off-hours".
I've always loved sunrises and sunsets, but because of its strict and narrow time frame, I find it difficult to go out and view the sunrise/set, let alone plan a photoshoot for it. A little while back when I was in Cuba, however, I stayed at an oceanfront hotel and was so unbelievably fortunate to be able to experience the sun rising and setting every day, with a perfect view. It was honestly surreal how breathtaking it was. I spent my mornings just sitting on the beach watching the sun cross over the horizon of the crystal clear waters, as the yellows, oranges, and reds bled through the sky.
Although this was one of those moments better off stored in memory, for no photo could do it justice, I still, of course, had to take advantage of this perfect opportunity for a golden hour photoshoot.

If you ever have some free time, I recommend you to go out and fully enjoy the golden hour. It truly is quite the sight.
Love, Lena
